New solution provides on-demand intelligence and analytics for corporate travel managers
CHICAGO, Oct. 2, 2015 – Today the business travel landscape is rapidly evolving with new suppliers, mergers, divestitures, and faster, more robust data. Airlines are constantly changing their schedules, changing fare structures and implementing new surcharges and fees. Traditional, static one to three-year airline contracts are outdated and underperform now that proactive program management can identify better outcomes.
As part of its ongoing program management approach, Advito has released the Air Performance Scorecard (APS), making it faster and easier for travel managers to adopt a new approach – from data intelligence to business intelligence. Advito APS clients can now access a dynamic, web-based dashboard to review air travel activity and patterns to track contract savings and performance to airline commitments, anytime. Plus, the agile proprietary software allows for continual enhancements to keep pace with rapid data evolution.
APS provides clients with key activity data from all its travel agencies consolidated with all the carrier contract terms, pricing and targets, and the unbiased fair market share data (Advito’s custom “QSI”). Advito consultants interpret the data and analytics to uncover deep insights into what’s truly driving the clients’ program performance. The platform also integrates with Advito’s exclusive QSI analytics providing unbiased expected market share data specific to clients’ needs versus carrier-centric views.
The new scorecard addresses savings-focused metric questions for clients like:
- What and where do I spend?
- What and where are my savings?
- What and where are my risks and opportunities?
- What specific actions can I take to drive more savings?
And performance-focused metric questions like:
- Am I in compliance?
- How am I performing overall and by specific contract term?
- Am I supporting my preferred carriers and are they delivering their expected value?
- What and where are my risks and opportunities?
- What specific changes should I be making to my preferred air program?
Advito clients who tested the new solution prior to launch agree that it’s time to change how they manage air programs to contribute ongoing and strategic value in a fast-changing market. “Advito’s new Air Performance Scorecard (APS) has allowed us to access content that is actionable, more user-friendly and conducive to having meaningful interaction with our global air suppliers. The new dashboard helps us to more efficiently manage the complexity in implementing our contract terms in 86 points of sale worldwide,” says Advito APS client Pat A McGowan, Global Travel Manager for Pfizer.
